As of 0:00 today, there are 870 new cases.

The number of people increased by 30 from the previous day, but on the third day it was less than 1,000.

When looking at the route of infection, 833 people occurred in Korea and 37 people came from overseas.

Of these, 120 were tested positive at the temporary screening test in the metropolitan area.

The death toll increased by 19 more, and the cumulative death toll was 1,046.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 11 to 400.

The number of confirmed cases in Korea by region was 292 in Seoul, 294 in Gyeonggi and 37 in Incheon, with 623 in the metropolitan area alone.

Non-capital areas include Gyeongbuk 34 people, Gangwon 30 people, Gwangju 28 people, and Busan 23 people.

Excluding Jeollanam-do, there were confirmed cases in 16 provinces nationwide.

The quarantine authorities are currently judging that the third epidemic is at its peak and gradually decreases.

In the future, the downward trend is also expected to be slow and modest.

However, they analyzed that risk factors such as large-scale group infection, transmission in nursing hospitals, and mutant viruses remain.
