Kia Motors created a new logo and slogan with the will to become a company that develops electrification and mobility services as its main business along with the existing business. The logo was created based on three design concepts: balance, rhythm, and rise. Kia Motors expressed its ambition to become a company that provides customers with new experiences and satisfactions with future-oriented products and services, and constantly changes and inspires to meet customer needs.
In the video, 303 pyro drones emit fireworks from above Seoul, embodying the new Kia Motors logo. As the video background music, the music light of Advanced Korean Electronic Dance Music (EDM) musician group came out. The lyrics contain hopeful meanings such as’hold on tight the wheel’ and’follow the holylight’. It is interpreted that it was selected to contain a positive image of the logo and emblem that Kia Motors released on this day.
At the time the public video was broadcast, more than 3,000 netizens from around the world accessed Kia Motors’ official YouTube channel simultaneously. They expressed their regret at this video, which was held shortly for about 5 minutes, but showed curiosity about the future use of the logo, such as’Is the Kia Tigers uniform changing?’
As on the 15th, Kia Motors plans to reveal the specific meaning of the new logo and slogan and future usage strategies through the online channel.
