[에너지경제신문 여헌우 기자] Kia Motors unveiled a new logo and slogan and declared a’brand image change’.

On the 6th, Kia Motors held a’Logo Unveiling Event’ to reveal a new logo and brand slogan. The unveiling event, held through the digital channel, was held in the form of a total of 303 drones emitting fireworks from the sky and drawing a new logo.

Kia Motors’ new logo and slogan represent the company’s determination to establish a leading position in the future mobility industry through business reorganization as part of the mid- to long-term strategy’Plan S’announced last year.

The new logo represents Kia’s new brand direction, and was developed with three design concepts: Symmetry, Rhythm, and Rising.

‘Balance’ expresses the confidence to present a new customer experience through providing future-oriented products and services as well as customer satisfaction in the existing business area. ‘Rhythm’, as the lines of the new logo are all connected as one, contains the attitude of constantly moving and changing according to the needs of customers, and the promise of continuing to deliver moments of inspiration to customers. ‘Rising’ means Kia’s passion to leap to a new brand from a true customer perspective.

Kia Motors presented a new brand slogan’Movement that inspires’ along with a new logo. More detailed brand orientation and strategy, including the slogan, will be announced through the YouTube showcase at 9 am on the 15th.

“The newly introduced logo symbolizes Kia’s commitment to lead change and innovation,” said Song Ho-seong, president of Kia Motors. We look forward to seeing Kia Motors’ new look and future that will respond and inspire customers’ lives.”
