As of today 0 o’clock, there are 840 new cases.

It was 125 more than the previous day, but on the second day it was below 1,000.

Looking at the route of infection, domestic outbreaks were 809 and foreign inflows were 31.

Of these, 111 people were tested positive at the temporary screening test in the metropolitan area.

The death toll increased by 20 more, and the cumulative death toll was 1,027.

There were 411 patients with severe gastric disorders, 25 more.

The number of confirmed cases in Korea by region was 263 in Seoul, 269 in Gyeonggi, and 35 in Incheon, with 567 in the metropolitan area alone.

In the non-capital area, there are 38 in Busan, 30 in Gwangju, 28 in Gyeongbuk, 26 in Gyeongnam, and 23 in Chungnam.

The quarantine authorities are currently judging that the third epidemic is at its peak and gradually decreases.

The government has decided to reconsider the measures to quarantine the gym?

The Central Accident Response Headquarters decided to take another look at the overall prevention measures in the gym.

In a regular briefing, Tae-ho Yoon, head of quarantine, said, “It is a similar indoor sports facility, but we will review the relevant guidelines in consideration of the equity of a taekwondo hall or a school that is allowed to operate on a small scale in consideration of caring functions that have different standards from the gym.”

In addition, he added that it will be promoted as quickly as there are issues raised in the field.

In the case of the Seoul metropolitan area, where step 2.5 is currently applied, the operation of indoor sports facilities such as gyms is continuously prohibited.

Small-scale sports facilities registered as academies such as Taekwondo and Ballet have been allowed to operate under the condition of nine or less teaching staff at the same time.
