In his inauguration address, President Jung said, “The KBO League has developed more rapidly than before, but there are still many things to be fixed. The homework given to take a leap forward is difficult. As governor, I will turn the current crisis into an opportunity and make it a vital league that breathes with fans.”

He expressed his thoughts without being blocked by questions from reporters on issues in the baseball world. He also expressed a clear stance on the inappropriate behavior of the management of Kiwoom Heroes, which was a topic of great controversy recently. He said, “The 10 clubs including KBO are practicing sports spirit based on high morality. In the event of some problems, the principle of punishment for worker punishment and personal punishment should be enforced. “We will try to comply with strict sanctions as much as possible within the limits set by the KBO regulations.”

The former governor also expressed his conviction on’integrated marketing’, which did not make any results. Governor Jung said, “Integrated marketing is ultimately for league industrialization. However, it is true that it is difficult to unify opinions due to different interests between clubs. The fastest way is for the club to actively seek ways to improve profits such as team management and fan service, and KBO cooperates with it. KBO also plans to come up with several plans on its own.”
