Green premium, one of the government’s support plans for joining the RE100, is a voluntary fund that electricity consumers who want to purchase electricity produced from renewable energy pay separately from electricity bills.

Consumers who purchase the green premium can receive a’renewable energy use confirmation’ corresponding to the amount paid for the green premium and use it for RE100 certification.

On the 8th of next month, the successful bid volume and price will be individually announced to the successful bidder, and the total volume and maximum price of the successful bid will be posted on the KEPCO website.

The contract period is maintained until December 31 of this year, and the green premium is paid monthly and the renewable energy use confirmation is issued quarterly.
