Following the Pfizer vaccine, the UK has also launched the world’s first AstraZeneca vaccine.

The AstraZeneca vaccine, which can be stored at normal refrigerator temperature, is easy to distribute, and there are expectations that it will contribute to the end of the corona19 crisis.

Corona vaccination, jointly developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca, began in the UK.

The world’s first AstraZeneca vaccine was given to an 82-year-old man with renal dialysis.

A native of Oxford, he is very proud that the vaccine has been developed in his hometown, and is delighted that he is able to return to his daily routine and celebrate his 48th anniversary with his wife.

“Vaccines mean everything to me, because it’s the only way to get back to my routine. Corona 19 virus is terrible. Isn’t it?”

The UK considers the AstraZeneca vaccine to be the de facto domestic vaccine.

Accordingly, we secured the largest number of vaccine candidates by pre-selling 100 million doses.

That’s the amount that can be given twice to 50 million people out of about 66 million people in the UK.

Unlike Pfizer vaccine, which must be stored at very low temperatures, AstraZeneca vaccine can be stored at normal refrigerator temperature, making vaccination much easier.

British Health Secretary Matt Hancock said, “This is an important moment to deal with the terrible virus. We hope that the AstraZeneca vaccination will deliver new hope that the COVID-19 outbreak is imminent.”

The UK currently has 730 vaccinations, and is expected to increase to more than 1,000 this week.
