Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong emphasized the first achievement in the new year to achieve the first place in system semiconductors through win-win growth. Vice-Chairman Lee, who visited the site in work clothes that day, looked at the construction and operation of the Pyeongtaek Line 2, and received reports on the status of semiconductor investment and employment and joint initiatives with partner companies. Then, he attended the ceremony for bringing in foundry production facilities at the second plant. The equipment brought on this day is the semiconductor chemical vapor deposition equipment produced by Wonik IPS using domestic technology.
