Accordingly, at restaurants nationwide, reservations and accompanying admission are only allowed for up to 4 people from that day. It is said that it is impossible to gather more than five people, including a dinner party, alumni club, and a New Year’s party, including lunch and dinner with co-workers at a restaurant. In principle, it is not allowed for 5 people to meet and divide into 2 and 3 people.
However, weddings, funerals, and various exams are considered exceptions. In this case, up to 49 people in the metropolitan area (step 2.5) and 99 people in the non-metropolitan area (step 2). In cases where families with the same living space gather, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, etc., need to be cared for, or if there is a possibility of dying, even if the family gathers together, it is allowed to gather 5 or more.

Ski resorts nationwide, academies and training centers in the metropolitan area, which had been banned from operation so far, are now available for limited operation.
First, winter sports facilities, such as ski resorts, were allowed to operate, but the capacity was limited to one-third and closed after 9pm. Equipment rental facilities and changing rooms can be operated, but restaurants and cafes located in ski resorts remain banned from gatherings.
In consideration of the problem of caregiving gaps during vacations, academies and teaching centers in the metropolitan area are allowed to operate on the premise that the quarantine rules are followed if the number of teachers is up to 9 at the same time. The same goes for Taekwondo academies and ballet academies where infants and young children attend.

In the case of indoor sports facilities such as gyms and swimming pools, singing practice centers, standing performance halls, and entertainment establishments, the’prohibition of gatherings’ is maintained. Sauna and steam facilities in the bathhouse business cannot be operated, and movie theaters and PC rooms must be closed after 9 PM.
Accommodation facilities nationwide such as hotels, resorts and guest houses can only accept reservations within two-thirds of the total number of rooms. Various events and parties organized by lodging facilities are prohibited, and’party rooms’ nationwide cannot be operated for the time being.
Regarding religious facilities, measures in accordance with the 2.5 step distance were applied nationwide so that regular worship, Mass, court meetings, and ceremonies were conducted non-face-to-face. Meetings or meals organized by religious facilities are prohibited.
