In his inauguration address, President Kim said, “KB Insurance, which is proud to challenge the first place with’insurance beyond insurance’ rather than an ordinary insurance company, reviving the pride of KB Insurance’s’first,”only’ and’first-class DNA’ Let’s be,” and announced the management goals.
President Kim suggested three strategic directions and three promises to achieve this. First of all, it emphasized’customer first’ as the first strategic direction. He said, “It is what KB Insurance should do to provide customers with the best products and services and to make them enjoy a happy life. Let’s create innovative products, services, and channels that can provide value to customers.”
Second, they ordered to create a new market with differentiated competitiveness. In order to create a differentiated blue ocean market, President Kim said, “We must diagnose the CPC strategy from the perspective of customers, products, and channels at zero base and establish a clear promotion policy.” In addition, he pledged to create new value through the establishment of a cooperation model with three insurance companies (KB Insurance, Prudential Life Insurance, and KB Life Insurance) by actively utilizing synergy based on the competitiveness of KB Financial Group.
As a third strategy, it was decided to promote innovative and omnidirectional digitalization. President Kim said, “If you don’t have the digital that fits the customer’s eye level, if all of your daily lives are digitalized, you will get away from the customer’s interest.” “Digital insurance that allows you to advance faster and more conveniently than you think. It will be a company,” he ordered.
President Kim said, “We will create an organizational culture where employees who immediately reflect the voices of the field and working-level employees in management and boldly express their opposition to the CEO are more recognized.” “The CEO is responsible for failures that occur after fierce thoughts and execution. I will take the lead in this,” he said.
