191 critically ill beds, only 0 in Gyeongbuk and 1 in Jeju… 64 semi-critical patient beds left

It was found that there were 191 dedicated beds for severely ill patients, and 64 for semi-critical patients. There is a free space for an additional 7883 people to enter the Life Therapy Center.

According to the Central Accident Control Center of the Ministry of Health and Welfare on the 3rd, as of the 2nd, a total of 191 dedicated beds for severely ill patients were identified. Among them, 85 were surveyed in the metropolitan area, including 40 in Seoul, 34 in Gyeonggi, and 11 in Incheon.

Of the local governments nationwide, there are only three beds dedicated to critically ill patients in Gyeongbuk, but all are hospitalized and there are no spare beds at all. Of the 4 critically ill patients in Jeju Island, only 1 spared.

There are 64 remaining semi-critical beds nationwide. Among them, the metropolitan area, including 15 in Gyeonggi Province, 13 in Incheon, and 8 in Seoul, accounted for more than half with 36. In Ulsan, Gangwon, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Jeju, there were no semi-critical patient beds left. Daejeon also has only one spare bed.

The number of hospital beds dedicated to infectious diseases was counted as 2461 remaining nationwide. Among them, 366 in Seoul, 179 in Gyeonggi and 722 in the metropolitan area out of 177 in Incheon.

The living treatment center has 13,574 people nationwide, of which 5787 were admitted. The utilization rate is 42.6%. In the future, an additional 7833 people can enter life treatment centers nationwide.

Among the nationwide life treatment centers, 47 locations in the metropolitan area and 8112 people are operating in the largest scale. The remaining space for admission in the metropolitan area is 5930 people. The highest utilization rate was the Sokcho Seoul City Civil Service Training Center, located in Gangwon-do, where the utilization rate reached 86.9%.
