England’s Tottenham striker Son Heung-min scored an additional goal in the 43rd minute in the first half against Leeds United in the 2020-21 season held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England on the 2nd (Korean time). Harry Kane’s penetration pass was finished with his right foot. This is the 100th goal in the official match after transferring to Tottenham in 2015.

Tottenham Club Instagram celebrated the achievement of 100 goals by collecting and editing Sohn Heung-min’s goal ceremony. Robbie Keane (Ireland), who scored 122 goals for Tottenham, left an applause emoticon with a comment saying, “Son Heung-min, welcome to join the 100th goal club.”

Gary Lineker, who also played for Tottenham, posted on his Twitter, “I congratulate Son Heung-min for 100 Tottenham goals. How wonderfully you are contributing to this country’s football. It’s exciting and fun on the field.’ It was also selected for’King of the Match’ with 62.4% support in a fan poll conducted through the Premier League website.

Son Heung-min said, “I was not alone, and I achieved 100 goals with the help of the surroundings. I think it’s the best start of the new year.” Son Heung-min and Kane set a tie record for the most goals in a single season with Alan Shearer-Chris Sutton, who jointly scored 13 goals for Blackburn Rovers in the 1994-95 season. Son Heung-min said, “I couldn’t assist Kane goal, but Kane knew I was there. We sometimes talk about telepathy.”
