President Moon Jae-in’s son, Moon Joon-yong, refuted the opposition’s accusations of receiving the emergency art grant for Corona 19 damage, saying, “Because I’m also a citizen of this country, I think I have the right to be protected.”

On the 30th, Moon said on his Facebook page, “Criticism against the president’s son is fine, but I cannot accept the criticism against my life.”

He said, “Politicians criticize me through the media for the purpose of attacking the other camp, the President. They point out that their intentions are bad,” he said. “Even so, it is natural that anyone can criticize the president’s son.” Said. He added, “I don’t think it’s possible to criticize the sale of apartments.”

However, Moon pointed out, “The problem is that those who are trying to attack the President interfere with my career as a media art writer.”

He emphasized, “Please stop accusing me of holding a solo exhibition because it is a matter of my livelihood.” Regarding the suspicion that he received preferential treatment for the emergency art support fund for the damage of Corona 19, he said, “Please do not speak without grounds. This is to undermine the fair evaluation of the artist. No matter what I do, if I always say my father’back’, how do I build professional authority?” Asked.

In addition, Moon said, “With regard to the criticism of the president’s son’s receipt of the subsidy, he explained the purpose of the subsidy and how it was used, and revealed that there is no problem.”

Moon also appealed, “There were many people who interfered with the progress of the exhibition hall and some people held group meetings.”

He said, “Even though these things have happened, my Facebook post was interpreted as a polite message to the people,” he said. “I thought that some people with ill-will mislead what they would not be a problem for the people, so I wrote to them. “I will take this part as a criticism of the president’s son.”

Previously, the artist Moon applied for an emergency art grant for Corona 19 damage and received 14 million won from Seoul. Regarding this, the criticism that the support fund should have gone to the small artists was criticized as a preferential treatment.
