SK Innovation will untact live broadcast’The First Sunrise of the New Year 2021′ at the SK Innovation Ulsan Complex (hereinafter referred to as Ulsan CLX), which is a famous sunrise spot in Ulsan.
The online live broadcast will be conducted through the company’s YouTube channel for about an hour starting at 7am on January 1st next year. The sunrise time in Ulsan, where live broadcasts take place, is predicted to be 7:31, the fastest time in Korea.
This event will be held by SBS Sports Announcer Kim Se-yeon in a three-won live broadcast method connecting the public video participation in the studio and the Ulsan CLX sunrise spot.
Over 500 domestic pre-applicants and 50 domestic and foreign nationals selected through pre-application from around the world, including Poland, Hungary, and Canada, will participate in this live broadcast. Even ordinary people who have not applied in advance can access the SK Innovation YouTube channel and enjoy the first year of the new year.
More than 50 people who participated in the live broadcast through the video program will share their memorable stories and wishes for the new year as they spend 2020.

The live broadcast for the first year of the new year is near the crude oil storage area in SK Innovation’s Ulsan CLX. It is the first gateway to import crude oil from all over the world, and is the starting point for the production of petroleum products supplied to Korea and around the world. It can be said that the live broadcast here is in line with the sunrise event that marks the beginning of 2021.
