On the last day of the year, another large-scale COVID-19 outbreak in elderly care facilities was confirmed in Busan.
As of 10 am on the 31st, Busan City announced that 31 new corona19 confirmed cases were added, and the cumulative number of patients was 1862. Of the new confirmed cases, 23 came from the Bluesae Elderly Health Center in Yeongdo-gu. The Parangsae Elderly Health Center is known as a facility where severely ill patients such as dementia enter the facility. There are 124 people in the center and 83 workers. Of the remaining new confirmed cases, 7 were contacts with those who were confirmed the day before, and one visited a screening clinic to be confirmed and the route of infection was not confirmed.
