The coastal police are looking for the missing person with the cooperation of Jeju Island and the military, but they are struggling with the inclement weather.

In the middle of a dark sea, a fishing boat lifts the bottom and turns over.

The 39-ton class Myeong Min-ho of Hallym Shipyard, which had 7 people including 4 Korean sailors and 3 Indonesian sailors, was in an overturning accident at around 7:40 pm.

Even if the coast guard attempts to enter the ship, rescue work is difficult due to high waves and strong winds caused by a storm warning.

Although the sea area of ​​the accident was relatively close to the port of Jeju, it was highly possible to rescue the crew, but the inclement weather caught on.

Myeong Min-ho, who struggled with rescue work due to bad weather, was struck by the breakwater of Jeju Port and was destroyed within eight hours of the accident.

It was first discovered in the sea 1.6km northwest of Jeju Port and was pushed by strong winds and high waves.

The coast guard mobilized 8 ships to find the seven missing sailors, and searched the sea about 6km east-west and 5.9km north-south, centering on Jeju Port.

On land, in cooperation with Jeju Island and the military, close to a thousand personnel were employed to search for the missing crew.

Myeong Min-ho’s overthrow is believed to be due to the bad weather at the time that a storm warning was issued.
