On the 29th, Grayscale Investment, a digital asset management company in the United States, announced on Twitter that its total assets under management (AUM) reached 18.8 billion dollars (about 208 trillion won).
Earlier, Grayscale announced $16.3 billion in total managed assets as of the 24th. The total amount of assets under management increased by 15.3% between the 4th. The company is recently being used as an investment channel for institutional investors who want to invest in cryptocurrency indirectly.
Grayscale currently operates a total of 10 products. Of these, the Bitcoin Investment Trust (GBTC) has the largest share of investment. 85.9% of the total operating amount, or $16.61 billion, is tied to GBTC.
The share of Ethereum Investment Trust (ETHE) is about 11.2% ($2.1 billion). The rest is distributed among other cryptocurrency investment trusts such as Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash, and Jet Cash.
