[사회]Corona 19 total inspection for residents of Seocho-gu…Installation of inspection stations at each community center

[앵커]

The proportion of confirmed patients whose infection route is unknown is approaching 30%.

Seocho-gu, Seoul, will test for Corona 19 on 430,000 residents over the next two months.

Eighteen inspection stations were installed in front of the Dong Community Center, and it is said that the first day, today, is not crowded.

Let’s connect the reporters who are at the inspection office. Reporter Jung Hyun-woo!

From today, all residents of Seocho-gu, Seoul, are undergoing corona 19 testing. How long have you visited so far?

At one point, there was a line in front of the inspection station when the news that a total inspection was conducted for residents, but now it is quite empty.

As of today’s noon, the number of people who visited the temporary screening office in Seocho-gu was counted as 395.

In order to achieve the goal of thorough inspection of 430,000 residents in the next two months, about 7,000 people need to be tested a day, but it seems that there are not many citizens visiting because it is the first day and it snows.

At the 18 new test centers established in each community center, you can only receive a saliva PCR test, which analyzes saliva components.

If you write down the presence or absence of symptoms in a list and deliver saliva in a container according to the instructions, the test is easily completed, so the burden of residents is less.

Listen to the story of a citizen who has been tested.

Although it is slightly less accurate than the conventional method, it also has the advantage that it does not require a lot of medical staff.

In fact, there are only 5 people who operate the inspection station, and the time taken to undergo inspection per visitor is not long, so it seems that there is no big burden.

The ward office allowed not only local residents, but also other municipalities to be tested.

The plan is to prevent infection concerns by subjecting people with overlapping living areas, such as working in Seocho-gu, to be tested.

As infection spreads in various places in everyday life and the proportion of confirmed patients with unknown paths reaches 30%, each local government is also setting up inspection stations targeting ordinary citizens.

In the metropolitan area, 152 temporary screening tests have been installed so far, and out of 500,000 people who have been tested for more than two weeks, about 1,400 have been tested positive.

Likewise, temporary screening and inspection stations are increasing in non-metropolitan areas.

Busan City has now increased the number of temporary screening offices to five, and Gwangju City has also established one in the square in front of City Hall.

As the quarantine authorities have increased the operation of the inspection station by two more weeks, the work of finding quiet radio waves is expected to continue for some time.
