The Korea Professional Football Federation (Governor Oh-gap Kwon) announced the annual salary expenditures of 11 K-League 1 teams (excluding the military team’s resident executive director) and 10 K-League 2 teams in the 2020 season. The squad’s annual salary was calculated based on the actual payment, including both the basic salary and various allowances (win allowance, draw allowance, participation allowance, attack point allowance and other options, etc.).
The calculation target is all players who have been registered with each club during the entire 2020 season. In previous years, only players registered in each club as of the end of the season were included in the calculation, but from this year on, accuracy was added by including all the salaries paid to players who resigned during the season due to transfers, loans, and contract termination. The allowance included allowances for the 2020 K-League and FA Cup matches.
The total annual salary of all 11 players in the 11 clubs in the K-League 1 in the 2020 season (including domestic and foreign players) is 9,24.2 billion KRW, and the average annual salary per person is KRW 19,9172,000.
As for the total annual salary by club, Jeonbuk was ranked the highest with 1,69629 million won. Next, Ulsan was 1,6391 billion won, Seoul was 9,42165,000 won, and Suwon was 8,74.5 million won.
The average annual salary per player is 434 million won in Jeonbuk, 365.9 million won in Ulsan, 24786,000 won in Seoul, and 181344,000 won in Suwon.
Among the domestic players, the highest annual salary of 1-5 was Kim Bo-kyung (1.35 billion won), Jeonbuk Hong Jeong-ho (1.26 billion won), Ulsan Lee Chung-yong (1.258 billion won), and Ulsan Cho Hyun-woo (1.09 billion won). 6 million won), followed by Yunbitgaram in Ulsan (1.065 billion won).
Among foreign players, the highest annual salary ranked 1-5 in Daegu Sejingya (1,433 billion won), Ulsan Junio (1,113 million won), Daejeon Andre (1,076 billion won), Incheon Mugosa (10 34 million won) and Osmar in Seoul (990 million won).
