In the western regions of Gyeonggi, Chungnam, and Honam, the fog is very thick and high concentration of fine dust continues.
Currently, the concentration of fine dust in the metropolitan area and Chungcheong area is about 40~60 micrograms per cubic meter, which is twice the annual average.
Ultrafine dust warnings are even issued in northern Chungcheong Province.
As fine dust accumulates at home and abroad, the Ministry of Environment is expected to see the concentration of fine dust in Seoul, the Midwest, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk today as’bad’ and’normal’ in other areas, but the metropolitan area and Chungnam are temporarily’very bad’ in the morning, and Jeonbuk. Predicted that it would be’bad’, and Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam would be’bad’ at night.
The Ministry of Environment, however, predicted that high concentrations of fine dust would gradually be eliminated as the air spread smoothly from night.
Today, the whole country is generally cloudy, and it is raining and snowing in the central region from the daytime, and in the south and Jeju Island from the afternoon.
Rain and snow will gradually stop in the late afternoon from Seoul and Gyeonggi.
Estimated snow cover will be 1cm in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungbuk, the eastern part of Jeollabuk-do, the inland of Gyeongbuk, the area of Mt.
Estimated precipitation is 5~20mm in Jeju Island and 5mm in other areas.
In the western regions of Gyeonggi, Chungnam, Honam, and inland Yeongnam, fog is expected to get very thick until the morning, so traffic safety needs special attention.
The highest temperature during the day will be between 2 and 15 degrees in the whole country, with Seoul staying at 3 degrees, and the central region will be 7 to 8 degrees lower than yesterday.
The Meteorological Administration, especially from the night, said that it is expected that the temperature of Seoul will drop to -12 degrees Celsius and -16 degrees Celsius in Cheorwon, and that it is expected to take care of health care and facility management.
The Meteorological Administration also predicted that heavy snowfall will fall in the west coast of Chungnam, Honam, and Jeju Island for the time being from tomorrow.
