A bread and confectionery manufacturer who sold products by tricking the expiration date was caught.
Bread in Suyeong-gu and Nam-gu, Busan, where the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety violated the’Food Sanitation Act’ and the’Law on Labeling and Advertising of Food, etc.’, such as using and storing raw materials that have passed the expiration date or falsely marking them as if six months have passed.・It was announced on the 28th that two confectionery manufacturers Ops and an Ops direct-managed store located in a department store in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, were detected, administered an administrative disposition, and requested an investigation.
This inspection was conducted with the Busan Food and Drug Administration from the 16th to the 22nd for two bread and confectionery manufacturers and 16 directly managed stores. Ops, a bread and confectionery manufacturer discovered, operates 16 directly managed stores in famous department stores, mainly in Busan, and all products produced there are sold only at direct stores.
The main violations include △use and storage of raw materials that have passed the expiration date △Indication of exceeding the expiration date △Violation of preservation and distribution standards △No report or change of product manufacturing report △False indication of the location of the manufacturer △Violation of sanitary handling standards △No health checkup of employees.
Some of the 9 products (a total of 44 kg), such as’Mochador (bread),’ using’fresh egg yolk liquid’, which is a raw material that has passed the expiration date, was recovered and seized and discarded at the site.
18 bread and confectionery items sold in department stores and directly managed stores were also collected and tested for preservatives and food poisoning bacteria (Yellow Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella), and all were found to be suitable.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety will continue to strengthen crackdowns to eradicate illegal violations in the process of manufacturing and distribution of food, while reporting products that are suspected of being unhealthy or witnessing food safety-related violations to the Defective Food Report Phone 1399. I asked to do it.
