Japan will suspend entry for new foreigners from the 28th of this month to the end of January next year. In addition, if a Japanese or foreigner residing in Japan enters the country from a country where the COVID-19 variant occurs, they will require proof of Corona 19 testing within 72 hours before departure, and additional testing will be conducted upon entry.
Meanwhile, according to NHK on the 27th, 3,881 newly confirmed corona19 infections across Japan the previous day. The highest number was updated on the fourth day following 3,270 on the 23rd, 3,740 on the 24, and 3,831 on the 25th.
