[루키=고양, 김혁 기자] Lee Seung-hyun welcomed Choi Hyun-min’s performance.
Goyang Orion Orions won the 3rd round match against Incheon Electronic Land Elephants in the 2020-2021 Hyundai Mobis Professional Basketball Regular League held at the Goyang Gymnasium on the 26th with 68-63.
Orion led the team’s victory with the unchanging performance of the team’s girder Lee Seung-hyun. Lee Seung-hyun wrote a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Lee Seung-hyun said, “It’s good that I didn’t lose in a row. I played a difficult game, but I won because the players did not lose their concentration,” he said.
Orion’s Jeff Widy is showing a better appearance as the season goes by, as he adjusts to the KBL stage. On this day, Widi also scored a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Lee Seung-hyun expressed his belief in Widi, saying, “It’s definitely reassuring to play with Widi. Today, I have a shot that I threw because I didn’t have time, but it was a shot that believed in Widi. Sure enough, I caught the attack rebound right away. It’s really reliable.”
Orion won that day, but it was a bit disappointing in scoring.
Seung-Hyun Lee said, “I will practice my shooting harder. There is a lot of talk about the aggressive role of foreign players. There are obviously weak areas (foreign players), but there are strong areas, so the team members don’t care about that at all. Foreign players. If not, the domestic player can do it.”
Orion shined with Choi Hyun-min’s Altoran-like performance, who scored nine points including three three-point shots.
Lee Seung-hyun laughed, “Today, if it wasn’t Hyungmin’s three-point shot, I went hard. I was already backcourting as soon as Hyungmin shot,” and raised Choi Hyunmin’s performance.
