When using KT, if you receive 700,000 won of the publicly disclosed subsidy and an additional discount (up to 15% of the publicly disclosed subsidy), 805,000 won is discounted, and the actual purchase price drops to 493,000 won. At this time, assuming that the rate plan is 80,000 won, if you subscribe to the optional contract, the monthly communication fee discount amount is 20,000 won, and the discount amount for 24 months is 480,000 won. It is advantageous to live with publicly available subsidies.
Beware of illegal subsidies. According to the distribution industry, competition for attracting customers has begun due to the increase in public subsidies, and illegal subsidies are also prevalent in some distribution networks. It is known that the actual purchase of the Galaxy S20 Ultra is available in the range of 300,000 to 400,000 won. This is a discount of up to 1 million won.
Accordingly, the Korea Communications Commission announced that it will strengthen crackdown on illegal subsidy sales from Christmas.
