115 confirmed patients came out from the’anonymous inspection’ at the temporary inspection center in the metropolitan area… ‘10.2% of local occurrence’

On the 25th, more than 100 additional confirmed cases came out on the 25th at a temporary screening test in the metropolitan area, which is being operated to find the’hidden infected person’ in Korea.

According to the Central Defense Countermeasure Headquarters (Bangdaebon) on the 26th, a total of 3,3983 tests were conducted at the temporary screening test center in the metropolitan area on the eve of Christmas, and 115 people were tested positive. It is a scale that accounts for 10.2% of 1132 new confirmed cases in the region on this day.

The number of tests has been reduced by half compared to the previous day, which was a weekday, but the number of confirmed cases continues to be around 100 every day.

Since the first temporary screening test center in the metropolitan area opened on the 14th, there have been 1,140 cumulative confirmed cases of infection. By type of test, 33,2957 cases of’nasopharyngeal smear gene amplification (PCR) test’ using a sample collected from the nose were received, accounting for about 97% of the total.

Subsequently, 25 cases of’saliva sample PCR’ using acupuncture points and 999 cases of’rapid antigen tests’, which results in as little as 30 minutes, were conducted.

The quarantine authorities conducted a second nasopharyngeal smear PCR test if positive in the rapid antigen test, but two second tests were conducted the day before.

Anonymous tests at temporary screening offices operating in 150 locations in the metropolitan area with three additional locations the previous day will continue until January 3, next year. Regardless of the symptoms, anyone can get the test by providing a mobile phone number.
