In the United States, one of the healthcare workers who received Pfizer’s new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccine was reported to have suffered serious side effects.

It is the first serious side effect case reported since Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccination began in the United States, amid controversy over the safety of the Corona 19 vaccine.

According to NBC broadcasting on the 23rd (local time), the New York City Health Authority, the Ministry of Health and Mental Hygiene, said, “A medical practitioner showed a’anaphylaxis’ reaction after getting the Pfizer vaccine, but it is now stable.”

Anaphylaxis is a rapid systemic reaction caused by an antigen-antibody immune response, and symptoms such as shortness of breath, decreased blood pressure, and shock may appear.

The exact identity of the healthcare worker is not known. “Severe side effects are rare and the vaccine is very safe overall,” the New York Health Authority said. “We are following up on these side effects.”

Meanwhile, after Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccination began in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended that if you get the Corona 19 vaccine and you have serious allergic side effects, you should not take the second dose.

According to the CDC, 272,000 people in the United States had been vaccinated by Pfizer until the 18th, of which 6 had allergic reactions.

In the UK, which started vaccinating Pfizer before the US, two serious allergic side effects, anaphylaxis, were reported on the 8th.
