Genesis GV70 surpasses 10,000 units in one day of contract

The GV70, the first medium-sized sports utility vehicle (SUV) of the Genesis brand, surpassed 10,000 units in one day after the contract began.

Genesis announced on the 23rd that the Genesis GV70, which started contracts around 10 am the previous day, recorded more than 10,000 contracts on the same day alone. Genesis received a contract from the previous day after releasing GV70 to the world on the 8th. Customer delivery will take place early next year.

The GV70 is the fifth vehicle out of the six lineups that Genesis is planning by next year, and is the second SUV model of Genesis following the large SUV model GV80 released in January.

It features an exterior design that emphasizes a dynamic image, a driver-oriented interior design that makes the most of the beauty of Genesis’ unique white space, and a power performance that gives a stable driving sensibility and driving pleasure.

Genesis has emphasized the dynamic image by operating a sports package that includes an electronic differential limiter (e-LSD) and wheels for exclusive use on each GV70 model.

In addition, Genesis CarPay, which can be authenticated by fingerprint, advanced rear-seat passenger notification using a radar sensor, and after-blow technology that dries the air conditioner internal device after turning off the engine to prevent the occurrence of odors and bacteria in the indoor air conditioner has been installed to enhance marketability.

A Genesis official said, “The GV70 will be a leading model that pioneers the domestic high-end mid-size SUV market and takes the Genesis brand to the next level.”
