While group B2B Jung Il-hoon (26) was caught on charges of habitual inhalation of cannabis, some fans are urging Jung Il-hoon to leave the group.

Earlier on the 21st, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that it had sent Jung Il-hoon and his accomplices to the prosecution in July on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. According to the police, it is known that Jung Il-hoon obtained cannabis through an acquaintance instead of purchasing it, and used virtual currency to avoid investigation during the purchase process. One media reported that Jung Il-hoon spent 100 million won worth of virtual currency to purchase cannabis.

Accordingly, the agency Cube Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Cube) said, “As a result of checking with myself, Jung Il-hoon was summoned to an investigative agency for smoking cannabis as reported, and it was confirmed that he was under investigation.” I will do my best to the end so that I can feel it and work faithfully in future investigations.”

Strangely overlapping with the time of the investigation, the suspicion of Jung Il-hoon’s enlistment in the city of refuge also arose. Jung Il-hoon was admitted in May during a police investigation and is currently working as a social service agent. In this regard, an official from Cube explained, “(At the company), we had no idea that the drug was caught. The enlistment period was also initially scheduled for March, but it was only delayed for two months due to the spread of Corona 19.” Jung Il-hoon, a social service agent, is investigated at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, where the police, not the military prosecutors, passed the case.

After the incident of Jung Il-hoon’s cannabis inhalation was announced late, fans were in shock. In particular, even after he was investigated by the police for drug charges, he posted on social media, “I am sorry that I did not communicate properly with you while taking a break”, “I was taking time to focus on myself and take care of myself.” It is a reaction that is even more disappointing in that he casually cheated on the fans by posting an article of.

Accordingly, some B2B fans urged Jung Il-hoon to leave the team.

DC Inside B2B Gallery members said in a statement on the 22nd, “Fans have no reason to support the singer who is accused of’conventional drugs’, and I hope that Jung Il-hoon will not damage B2B’s reputation anymore. If Jung Il-hoon is not withdrawn from the group, I firmly declare that he will not consume or accept BTOB’s music in the future.”

While the Cube side is showing a cautious attitude with regard to Jung Il-hoon’s withdrawal from the team, attention is focused on Jung Il-hoon’s move.

Meanwhile, Jung Il-hoon, who debuted as B2B in 2012, gained popularity by hitting hits such as’Jump-bbang-pan’,’I can’t be without you’, and’I miss you.’
