The average selling price of gasoline in Seoul, the nation’s highest priced area, rose 12.1 won to 1,614.7 won per liter, and the lowest priced gasoline in Daegu rose 13.3 won to 1,506.8 won per liter.

By brand, GS Caltex gasoline was the most expensive at 1,538.0 won per liter, and gasoline at a budget gas station was the cheapest at 1,502.1 won per liter.

The sales price of diesel at gas stations nationwide was also totaled at 1,329.0 won per liter, up 12.2 won from last week.

International oil prices declined this week. The average price of Dubai oil, which is the standard for crude oil imported into Korea, was $62.4 per barrel, down by an average of $3.4 from last week.

International gasoline prices fell by 4.4 dollars to 69.0 dollars per barrel, and international automobile diesel prices fell by 4.0 dollars to 66.9 dollars per barrel.
