Starting this year, the government decided to pay 100% of the subsidy for cars priced at 60 million won or less, 50% for vehicles of 60 million won or more and 90 million won or less, and not to subsidize more than 90 million won.

Model Y is a model that Tesla releases in Korea after 1 year and 5 months after introducing Model 3 in Korea in August 2019. It has been 3 years since the introduction of the model X, a large SUV in 2018. The maximum driving distance is 511km (based on the long range), which is the highest in the industry. The time from stop to 100 km/h per hour is 3.7 seconds (based on performance). The top speed reaches 250km/h (based on performance).

Model Y has a fully automatic trunk that opens and closes automatically when a button is pressed, unlike Model 3, which had to open the trunk manually. In addition, in the case of the driver’s seat and the passenger seat, double-glazed glass is mounted to better block external noise. In the case of the console box cover, the Model 3 opens and closes manually, but the Model Y has the same semi-automatic slide cover as the Model X.

Two-row seats can also be folded by pressing a button into one or two seats. There is a lever to fold the seats near the shoulder seats, and two buttons to fold the second row seats inside the trunk. There is one more deep storage space at the bottom of the trunk, and there is no internal combustion engine, so the empty bonnet also has a front trunk. The interior and exterior design of the vehicle is similar to that of the Model 3. The same is true that the 15-inch touch screen is mounted in the center without an instrument panel.
