Celebrities who were self-employed due to the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) are closing in line. Following Hong Seok-cheon and Kang Won-rae, broadcaster Oh Jeong-yeon is also making people feel sorry for the news of the closing of the cafe. The government announced on the 3rd that 88% of the 3rd disaster subsidies for the self-employed people were being closed.

Oh Jung-yeon told his social network service (SNS) that day, “I deliver the news of the closing of the cafe that I have been running.” It’s done,” he said.

Oh Jeong-yeon also conveyed the regret that he had to close the cafe he had run for nearly two years. He said, “I was so bitter because I remembered the past days when I sold out a small piece of furniture and filled each sweat,” he said. “It was comforting to have been together for 21 months and remedy each other with the friendly staff.”

At the same time, Oh Jung-yeon regretted using hashtags such as’#When I was organizing the furniture_I tried to laugh’,’#When the signboard is lowered, tears pour out’, and’#Someday_Is the day to use the signboard again?’

Jeongyeon Oh opened a cafe in Mapo-gu, Seoul in 2019, and has been running it with passion, such as taking orders or making drinks. He appeared on several broadcasts and disclosed the daily life of running a cafe, saying, “I am the owner of a cafe.”

However, even Oh Jeong-yeon could not avoid the corona direct hit. He also confessed in KBS2’The boss’s ears are donkey ears’, saying, “(Café) deposit 30 million won and monthly rent about 2 million won,” and “I am seriously considering the existence of Corona 19 because the hit is huge.”

Hong Seok-cheon and Gangwon-rae also closed their stores due to the burden of rent due to Corona 19. Hong Seok-cheon, who once had a heyday in Itaewon area with Thai food, has dealt with all seven restaurants that were operated as sales fell due to Corona 19 in August of last year. He also said in an entertainment program, “Sales on weekends hit 10 million won,” and “After Corona 19, there are times when sales of 35,000 per day came out.”

In November of last year, Kang Won-rae declared a renunciation of business for a bar that had been operating in Itaewon since 2018. He posted a post on his SNS at the time, saying, “I’m looking for someone to take over the bar” and “If you are interested, please contact me.”

His unfortunate story also spread to controversy. In a meeting with the National Assembly representative Ahn Chul-soo, who recently voted for the mayor of Seoul, it was controversial when he talked about the difficulties of self-employed people. He later apologized to social media, saying, “When I talked about the grievances of self-employed people, my emotions were intensified and I expressed that’the quarantine policy is inferior’.”

Meanwhile, the government has been paying 3rd disaster subsidies for small businesses and others since last month. According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 3rd, among the 3.67 million people eligible for the 3rd disaster support payment on a daily basis, 88.5%, or 3.249,000, were paid. Lee Nak-yeon, the representative of the Democratic Party, recently mentioned the 4th Disaster Subsidy Payment, and expressed a position to cooperate with the people’s strength.
