[에너지경제신문=나유라 기자] Mirae Asset Group Chairman Park Hyun-joo said, “In the mid- to long-term, the Chinese government has taken appropriate measures” about the suspension of listing of Ant Group, a subsidiary of Alibaba, due to Chinese government regulations. Recently, Coupang, which is promoting listing on the NASDAQ market, was evaluated as “an innovative company.”

Chairman Park spoke with the Mirae Asset Daewoo Research Center about the semiconductor, cloud, battery/electric vehicle industries the day before, and presented various opinions on the green energy, e-commerce, game, and bio industries.
Chairman Park emphasized, “When you come to Amazon of the United States and Korea, there are Naver Shopping and Coupang.”
Chairman Park said, “Some people say that Coupang copied Amazon, but copying is also a very important strategy and you need to have insights.”

Chairman Park evaluated the suspension of listing of Ant Group as “a necessary measure for the long-term stability of Chinese society.”
