In addition to this attorney, the board of directors recommended Soon-ae Park, Professor of the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University, Do-sung Choi, Chair Professor at Gachon University, and Lee-Seok Hwang, Professor at Seoul National University Business School as outside directors. Among these, candidates Do-sung Choi and Lee-seok Hwang are members of the Audit Committee.

As the executive director, Jong-hoon Baek, executive director of Kumho Seokhwa’s sales division, was recommended as a candidate.

On the other hand, outside director candidates recommended by Managing Director Park Chul-wan are Lee Byeong-nam, former Boston Consulting Group Korea Office representative, Min John K., Dentons Lee, foreign lawyer, Cho Yong-beom, Facebook Southeast Asia general manager, and Choi Jeong-hyun, Ewha Womans University Environment. There are four professors including engineering professors. Park himself recommended the executive director.

The board of directors of Kumho Petrochemical proposed the recommendation of both internal and external directors as an agenda at the regular shareholders’ meeting, and it will be decided through a vote confrontation at the shareholders’ meeting on the 26th.
