[아시아경제 이현우 기자] In the Afghan capital of Kabul, three people were killed and 11 were injured in a bombing. There is a possibility that the Afghan militant Taliban may be behind the terrorist attacks that took place ahead of the Afghan peace talks in Moscow, Russia, but the Taliban are known to have denied connection with the terrorist attacks.

According to major foreign media on the 18th (local time), a bus passing through the streets of Kabul city exploded in a bombing attack, in which 3 people were killed and 11 people were injured. Police in Kabul city reported that a bomb previously installed on the side of the road was investigated, and the bus that exploded was said to be aboard the Afghan Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

On this day, the bombing occurred while the US, the Afghan government, and the Taliban delegation had a peace talks in Moscow, Russia. Considering that the U.S. troops stationed in Afghanistan (USFOR-A) previously announced that they raided the Taliban base in Afghanistan, while the background of the terrorism has not yet been revealed, it was presumed to be a terrorist caused by the Taliban as a retaliatory measure.

In particular, the Afghan government criticized the Taliban as the Taliban behind the terror, saying that the Taliban had been running an assassination campaign against public officials, civil society personnel, and journalists. However, it is known that the Taliban side said that it was not related to the terrorist attacks.
