CNN cited multiple sources on the 8th of the local time, saying that the Democratic Party could put forward a bill to impeach President Trump in the House of Representatives as early as the 11th and schedule a vote until early and mid-next week.

The draft resolution for impeachment is co-sponsored by 131 Democrats in the House of Representatives, CNN said.

In the draft resolution, Reuters said the impeachment charges were made by Congressmen David Sicillin, Ted Liu and Jamie Raskin and are circulating among lawmakers.

President Trump was charged with inciting violence against the US government to overturn his defeat by President-elect Joe Biden in last year’s presidential election.

CNN also said that the impeachment had a provision for inciting rebellion.

Democrats explained that in this section, President Trump actually agitated in relation to the invasion of the Capitol during a joint meeting of the House and Senate to certify the election results.
