Today, the temperature will drop significantly and snow will fall all over the country. The Meteorological Administration said the cold would continue until Wednesday, the 17th.

The minimum temperature in the morning is -10 to -1 degrees, 10 degrees lower than Monday (1 to 9 degrees). North Gyeonggi and Gangwon Yeongseo are expected to be around -10 degrees Celsius, and around -5 degrees in other regions.

The maximum temperature during the day will be -4 to 8 degrees lower than the previous day (1 to 13 degrees). The wind, which had been stagnating for a while, will become stronger from the afternoon, and the temperature will decrease further.

The Meteorological Administration predicted that snow would fall from morning to 3 p.m. in the central region, excluding the east coast of Gangwon, from day to 6 p.m. in the southern region, and from 3 p.m. to night in Jeju. Estimated snowfall is 1 to 5 cm in the southern part of Gyeonggi Province, Chungcheong area, and 5 provinces in the west sea, and 1 to 3 cm in the northern and southern regions of Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province.

With smooth air diffusion, the concentration of fine dust will show a’good’ level in all areas.

The waves of the sea will rise from 1.0 to 3.5 m off the east sea, 1 to 3 m off the west sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 m off the south sea.

The wave height of the far sea is expected to be 1.5 to 6 m in the east sea and 1.5 to 4 m in the west and south seas.

In the west and south seas, and off the coast of Jeju Island, the wind will temporarily weaken and the waves will decrease from dawn to daytime, but strong winds and high waves are expected from the afternoon.

On the east coast, there may be places where high waves cross the seashore or strongly push toward the sandy beach. Care should be taken to prevent safety accidents.
