A transcript of an academy official A in Sangdo-dong, Seoul, has been released on the Internet, causing controversy.

Yesterday (on the 2nd), the author who said he was the manager of a delivery agency posted a message and recorded a call to the Internet community saying that he was hurt by a customer.

The author said that on the 1st, he received an order for coffee from the academy through the delivery app and delivered it, but the address was incorrectly written, and he called and went back to the academy by talking to Mr. A, but he did not pay for the delivery fee, so he waited for about 10 minutes.

When he protested against this, Mr. A claimed to have spoken and verbalized, such as, “I am a person who cannot study, so I do something like delivery.”

At first, Mr. A was known as an instructor at a large academy, but the academy said that he was a shuttle bus boarding and disembarkation assistant and retired after the incident.

Delivery Workers’ Union Rider Union and the victims held a press conference today (3rd) and asked for a refrain from excessive accusations against the perpetrator, saying that the only thing the delivery driver wants is a genuine apology.

They also argued that there is a need for an institutional supplement to the emotional labor of delivery workers.
